About PLM Road Map™ 2007
PLM Road Map™ 2007 is a strategic conference focused on the critical trade-offs shaping product development. Attendees at PLM Road Map™ 2007 had their current thinking on product development challenged in a series of highly charged presentations from our group of keynote speakers: Dr. Durward Sobek of Montana State University; Michael N. Kennedy of Targeted Convergence Corporation; Detlef Bielohlawek of General Motors Corporation; Dr. Thomas Gielda of Whirlpool Corporation; Mark Dunlop of HP Consulting & Integration; David Mitchell of Siemens PLM Software; and Chad Hawkinson of PTC.
At PLM Road Map™ 2007, attendees found out first hand which issues are currently confronting end users. Presentations covered driving critical parameters across design, frameworks for process transformation, the impact of organizational and cultural constraints, SOA for integration across the full development cycle, transforming CAE into a strategic business initiative, BOM integration across design and manufacturing, mechatronics and embedded software, and more.
Top industry analysts, Don Brown, Ken Versprille, Vasco Drecun, Michel Vrinat, from CPDA, key industry players and front-line implementation experts shared their experiences in making technology work, by driving efforts up-front early in design, and by continuously incorporating cross-disciplinary knowledge and feedback. Attendees learned more about their successes in making technology work by linking it across the whole product lifecycle and the obstacles encountered on the way.
